Title: Types of Business Entities Permitted to Be Established and Operated within the Export Processing Zone Ch

Content: The types of business entities permitted to be established and operated within the Export Processing Zone 
are prescribed in accordance with Articles 3 and 6 of the Statute for the Establishment and Administration 
of Export Processing Zone, as follows:
1.Types of business entities permitted to be established within the Zone:
(1) Manufacture of computers, electronic, and optical products;
(2) Manufacture of electrical equipment and accessories;
(3) Manufacture of electronic parts and components;
(4) Manufacture of fabricated metal products;
(5) Manufacture of machinery and equipment;
(6) Manufacture of chemical material, plastic and rubber materials, and other chemical products;
(7) Manufacture of textiles, wearing apparel, and clothing accessories;
(8) Manufacture of food products and beverages;
(9) Manufacture of motor vehicles and parts;
(10) Manufacture of other transport equipment and parts;
(11) Other manufacturing;
(12) Manufacture of pharmaceuticals and medicinal chemical products;
(13) Repair and installation of industrial machinery and equipment;
(14) Electricity and gas supply;
(15) Transportation and storage;
(16) Publishing activities, audio and video production, broadcasting, information and communication 
     services;
(17) Financial and insurance activities;
(18) International trade;
(19) Activities of head offices and management consultancy activities;
(20) Related industry; and
(21) Other industries that meet any of the high technology, capital-intensive, high quality, and high 
     added value requirements or conform to the purpose of establishment of the Export Processing Zone 
     and consequently obtain permission for establishment.
2.Types of business entities permitted to set up operation or liaison offices within the Zone:
(1) Gasoline stations;
(2) Food and beverage service activities;
(3) Freight truck transport;
(4) Customs clearance services;
(5) Real estate activities for development, sale, and rental with own or leased property;
(6) Waste collection, treatment, and disposal activities and materials recovery;
(7) Legal and accounting activities;
(8) Postal saving and remittance services;
(9) Retail sale in non-specialized stores;
(10) Incubation as well as research and development services;
(11) Self-usage power generation equipment utilizing renewable energy industry;
(12) Operation of sports facilities; and
(13) Other types of assistive or service businesses not included in the types of business entities 
     permitted to be established within the Zone but permitted by the Administration or its branches due 
     to actual needs of the Zone.
