Title: Types of Business Entities Permitted to Be Established and Operate within the Technology Industrial Parks Ch

Content: As per Articles 4 and 6 of the Act for the Establishment and Administration of Technology Industrial 
Parks, the types of businesses allowed to be established and operate in technology industrial parks 
are specified below:
1.Types of businesses allowed to be established in the parks:
(1)Manufacture of computers, electronic and optical products.
(2)Manufacture of electrical equipment.
(3)Manufacture of electronic parts and components.
(4)Manufacture of fabricated metal products.
(5)Manufacture of machinery and equipment.
(6)Manufacture of chemical materials, plastic and rubber materials, and other chemical products.
(7)Manufacture of textile products, wearing apparel and clothing accessories.
(8)Manufacture of food products and beverages.
(9)Manufacture of motor vehicles and parts.
(10)Manufacture of other transport equipment and parts.
(11)Other manufacturing.
(12)Manufacture of pharmaceuticals and medicinal chemical products.
(13)Repair and installation of industrial machinery and equipment.
(14)Electricity and gas supply.
(15)Transportation and storage.
(16)Information and communication.
(17)Financial and insurance activities.
(18)International trade.
(19)Activities of head offices. management consultancy activities.
(20)Related service industries.
(21)Others that meet any of such criteria as high technology, high capital intensity ratio, high quality, 
and high added value or meet the purposes of establishment of technology industrial parks, and have 
obtained approval for the establishment thereof.

2.Types of businesses allowed to set up operation offices or liaison offices in the parks:
(1)Gas stations.
(2)Food service activities.
(3)Freight truck transport.
(4)Customs clearance services.
(5)Real estate development, sale and rental activities.
(6)Waste collection, treatment and disposal activities. materials recovery.
(7)Legal and accounting activities.
(8)Postal saving and remittance services.
(9)Retail sale in non-specialized stores.
(10)Incubation, research and development services.
(11)Self-usage power generation equipment utilizing renewable energy industry.
(12)Sports stadiums.
(13)Other types of businesses with auxiliary or service functions which are not within the scope of 
businesses allowed to be established in the parks but have obtained approval from the 
Administration or Branches due to actual needs of the parks.
