1. Product type, scope and applicable date:
(1)Water closet: Applicable from April 1, 2018.
(a)Single flushing water closet.
(b)Dual flushing water closet.
(2)Washing machine: Applicable from April 1, 2018.
(a)Including domestic washing machines and washing machines used in self-service laundries or
public areas of buildings.
(b)Not including washing machines for commercial laundries and double-drum washing
machines with a washing drum independent of a dehydration drum.
(3)Flush urinals: Applicable from October 1, 2021.
2. The aforementioned products sold for domestic should obtain a Water Efficiency Labeling in
accordance with the Regulations for the Management of the Water Efficiency Labeling. Violators
shall be fined NT$ 40,000 to NT$ 200,000 according to Article 98-1 of the Water Supply Act, and
ordered to improve within a limited period. Those who fail to improve within the time limit may be
punished each time. |
